APYData is the only comparison tool that integrates radically different product categories into a single table: guaranteed bank deposits, sovereign debt, DeFi yields, neobanks, and crowdlending. The goal is to give you a real view of the entire market, not just the segment that each entity wants to show you.
Category: filter between banks, crypto/fintech platforms, DeFi, TradFi (public debt), and crowdlending. If you are only looking for products with a government guarantee, select Banks and TradFi.
Currency: compare EUR, USD, GBP, AUD, and CAD. Important: returns in currencies other than your own involve exchange rate risk.
Risk: we classify products as low, medium, and high. Low is equivalent to guaranteed bank deposits or sovereign public debt. High is equivalent to DeFi or crypto without a guarantee.
Guarantee: shows which fund covers deposits — European FGD (€100k), UK FSCS (£85k), US FDIC ($250k), Australian APRA (AU$250k) or none for unguaranteed products.
Each product has a score from 0 to 10 that combines risk-adjusted return, security level (guarantee, regulation, track record), and liquidity. It is a guidance tool, not an investment recommendation. A 3% deposit with an FGD guarantee may have a better score than an 8% DeFi without a guarantee because the risk-adjusted return is different.
Products with automatic sources (Binance, DefiLlama, proprietary scrapers) are updated daily. Products with manual data have the date of the last update visible on their page. Data accuracy is APYData's main asset — if you detect outdated data, please report it.
Traditional comparison tools only show bank deposits in their local market. APYData includes 126 products from 5 different categories, multiple currencies, and more than 15 countries — because the best return for your profile may be in a British Gilt, ETH staking, or a Spanish Treasury Bill, not necessarily in a deposit at your local bank.
